"The U16 Miners will play to win; and we will do it with class, with character, and as a team."

The Pikes Peak Miners are the flagship program under the umbrella of the Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Association (CSAHA) Jr. Tigers. The Miners organization prides itself on not only developing hockey players, but also capable students and determined young men. It is our goal to provide AAA caliber U-18 and U-16 hockey players with excellent coaching, rigorous practice, and a competitive game schedule all within a supportive environment which places emphasis on the academic, social, and mental development of all participants. It is our responsibility to facilitate the development of elite U-18 and U-16 hockey players and prepare them for advancement to Midget Major AAA hockey and beyond.

The Rocky Mountain Wranglers mission, according to their website, is "to create, maintain and develop a hockey program that houses the most committed hockey players both on and off the ice. To develop the 'total' hockey player. To provide quality coaching and a healthy and positive hockey environment. To maintain a reputation of excellence in the development of hockey players with the total hockey experience in mind."

"Keeping in mind the above mentioned mission and goals of the Rocky Mountain Wranglers AAA Hockey Club, the program must first and foremost be an educational program for players, parents, and coaching officials. The process of adding, refining and deleting will shape the Wranglers as those involved strive to meet the highest standards and the highest level of play. In doing so we have built a reputation in the game of hockey as educators and counselors."

"Our program is practical and effective in meeting the program’s philosophy and objectives. We strive to create a competitive environment that pushes athletes to the highest levels, to put a product both on and off the ice that will become the only place a player wants to go and play at. We strive to develop, expose, and advance our players to the next level of hockey. We provide career counseling for players and parents."
